This is our travel blog.\u00a0 We like to travel widely, and have been to Canada, England, Korea, Ireland, Malaysia (including Borneo), Singapore, and cruises to Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean, both singly and together.\u00a0 We’re also a couple of beach bums who are just a little grumpy when we’re not looking out over large expanses of sand and water.\u00a0 We live in Alexandria, Virginia, and have a little beach condo in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.<\/p>\n
New Smyrna Beach is a great beach town with the feel of old Florida, especially on the off-season.\u00a0 Daytona Beach and St. Augustine are to the north, and Titusville and Cape Canaveral are to the south.\u00a0 Orlando and the airport are just over an hour away.\u00a0 You don’t drive through New Smyrna Beach going somewhere else.\u00a0 At one end of the island is an inlet without a bridge, and at the other end is the Canaveral National Seashore.<\/p>\n
