We did it again in 2017, and then this year Barbara took it solo since I was already in Florida for a work conference.\u00a0 It&#8217;s handy, relaxing, and a nice way to travel if you don&#8217;t want to drive but want to have your car.\u00a0 We&#8217;ve also gotten used to its quirks and found it easier after the first trip.\u00a0 It does occasionally run late, as Barbara found out this year.\u00a0 Her first scheduled trip was cancelled due to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2018\/05\/02\/us\/military-plane-crash-savannah-georgia\/index.html\">Air National Guard transport plane crash in Savannah<\/a>, because the plane crash and investigation were very close to the tracks.\u00a0 They were able to reaccomodate her on the train the next day.<\/p>\n<p>For pictures of our beach condo please go here: <a href=\"http:\/\/seascapetowers.com\/unit\/unit-0323\/\">Seascape Towers Unit 323<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve taken the Auto Train twice since we first did it in 2016.
